Jo Hambro started her career at British Vogue in 1977 and, after spells at Country Life and The Independent newspaper as a Fashion Assistant and Style Editor, in 1992 she became the Creative Fashion Director of British GQ, a position she held until her resignation in 2015. During that time she worked with iconic names in photography, hair and make up in producing her well known stories for Condenast Publications. In 2005 Jo bought out her book, GQ Cool, a publication that illustrated some of her most famous work.
Jo is now an active Stylist and Creative Director in the film, music, retail, confectionary, media and fashion industries. These include consultation and advisory roles as well as creative content development and individual stying of artists.
